Privacy Policy

BAGADI LLC, which operates the BuyLow store, respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you shop with us, why, and what rights you have.

It covers the BuyLow store and the messages we send you about your orders. BQuick, the cross-border shipping service, publishes its own privacy policy.

To sell to you and get your order to you, we process:

• Your account details — name, phone number, and email address
• Your orders — what you bought, when, and for how much
• Your delivery addresses in Abidjan
• Your payments — proof-of-payment documents you upload and the records of payments made
• Technical data — device, browser, and connection details recorded when you use the store

We do not store full card numbers. Where card or mobile money payment is offered, a payment provider handles it and we keep only the result of the transaction.

We use your information to:

• Process your orders and prepare them for pickup or delivery
• Verify payments and maintain accurate billing records
• Keep you informed about your order's progress
• Answer your questions and resolve problems with an order
• Detect and prevent fraud and protect the security of the store

We send offers only if you have asked to receive them, and every such message includes a way to stop receiving them.

We never sell your personal information.

Where the law requires us to identify a legal basis, ours are:

• Performance of our contract with you — everything needed to fulfil your order
• Compliance with legal obligations — accounting and tax records, and lawful requests from authorities
• Our legitimate interests — securing the store and preventing fraud, weighed against your rights
• Your consent — for optional messages, withdrawable at any time

Your customer ACCOUNT — your sign-in details and profile — is shared with BQuick, because both businesses are operated by BAGADI LLC and use one login.

Your order history is not shared. BQuick does not use what you bought on BuyLow, and BuyLow does not use your BQuick shipping history.

• Our delivery agents — the address and contact details needed to deliver your order
• Payment providers — to process card and mobile money payments where you use them
• Messaging and email providers — to send you order updates
• Our hosting and storage provider — which holds the store's data on our behalf

We disclose information to public authorities only where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

We keep your account details while your account is open, and order and payment records for as long as accounting and tax rules require.

When we no longer have a reason to keep information, we delete it or render it anonymous.

We maintain measures appropriate to the risk, including:

• Encryption of data in transit using current protocols
• Passwords stored only as irreversible hashes
• Access limited to the staff who need it to serve you
• Records of administrative actions taken on your account
• Monitoring and regular backups

Proof-of-payment documents you upload are stored privately and are never publicly reachable.

No service can promise perfect security. Please choose a strong password, keep one-time codes to yourself, and tell us about anything that looks wrong.

Subject to the applicable law, you may:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy
• Have inaccurate information corrected
• Ask us to delete information we no longer have a reason to keep
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses
• Receive your information in a portable format
• Withdraw consent and stop marketing messages at any time

Much of this is available directly in your account. For anything else, write to privacy@buylow.ci.

Because the account is shared, deleting it removes your personal details from both businesses. Order and payment records that we must keep for legal reasons are retained for the required period and then deleted.

BuyLow is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, write to privacy@buylow.ci and we will delete it.

The store uses only the cookies it needs to work — keeping you signed in, remembering your language and your cart, and protecting the store against abuse.

There are no third-party advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

We may update this policy. The Effective Date at the top of this page shows the current version, and we will draw any material change to your attention before it takes effect.
